there is already another thread that describes the exact same problem, however your thread topic name seems more appropriate. The other thread is called "Can't get past the Splash Screen." Theres no fix yet but ill be checking both for a proper fix

Exact same problem with one of my computers, AND i just started paying for EVE. Luckily my newer PC still works, but i cant imagine how frustrated i would be if i only had one computer, just started playing this month and it fails in less than 20 ...
